Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. (Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time, nor publish research describing essentially the same study in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting a previously published paper for consideration elsewhere is unacceptable).
- The manuscript is the authors' own original work, and all sources have been properly cited. The authors understand that submissions are screened for both textual similarity and AI-generated content.
- Any use of generative AI tools in the preparation of the manuscript has been disclosed at the end of the manuscript. AI tools are not listed as authors. The authors understand that submissions will be run through Turnitin and a manuscript showing AI-detection score above 40% will not be considered.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text is single-spaced; uses Times New Roman font family; 18-point for the manuscript title, 12-point for headings, 11-point for sub-headings, 10-point for body text; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- All references have been formatted according to APA 7th edition style. Each reference appears on a separate line.
- Where available, DOIs for the references have been provided. (Authors must add DOIs in the references of the manuscript wherever available.)
- Full affiliation details and ORCID iDs (if available) have been provided for all authors.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
