Open Access Policy

The Presidency University Journal (PUJ) is a fully open access journal. All articles published in PUJ are freely and permanently available online to all users immediately upon publication, at no cost to readers or authors.

Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, provided the original work is appropriately cited. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

PUJ does not charge any article submission charges, article processing charges (APCs), or other fees at any stage of the publication process. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0); full details are provided in the Copyright and Licensing Policy below.

The journal is published by the Presidency University and supported by the university budget.
